Located about 45 km from 100 Mile House, located between the crystal clear, fish-filled lakes in the Cariboo plateau, you can spend a dream holiday in a unique landscape. 1,250 meters in height, it is the ideal starting point to experience the magnificent natural active. Summer or winter, we have to make a top leisure activities for you to get the most out of your stay. Please let your hosts with a maximum of 7 persons, because the property has only three doubles and two singles. A modern sauna completes the program.

Surrounded by the Cariboo Mountains at 1250 meters altitude, the Cozy-Guest House offers with accompanying 30-hectare plot trails with stunning views of the mountains and the surrounding five lakes. The beautiful landscape at the edge of Wells Gray Park and the cozy property is a tip for anyone who wants to spend even an extraordinary vacation + make this place an ideal spot to relax in a pleasant atmosphere active. Here you have the opportunity to virtually every summer-and winter-Activities that will be offered in Canada to try. Your host will provide you with excellent meals and a trip to a Western-Pub can also be arranged.

Getting there

You drive from Vancouver to Hope and then on the Coquihalla Highway to Kamloops and continue north on Highway 5 to Little Fort, where you turn left onto Highway 24, Little Fort (located on Highway 5, the Yellowhead Highway) with Highway 97 (Cariboo Highway) links. In Inter-Lakes, near the Sheridan Lakes, turn north, right, in the Horse Lake Road. After about 4.5 km turn to the east, right, from the Mahood Lake Road, where you have to drive about 4.8 km. Then turn right onto Burgess Road. After about 4 miles there is something left in the Julsrud Road, the road is not paved. Past some houses, there is at the end of the street (dead end) turn left into the entrance to CozyGuesthouse. A large archway woods welcomes you. Do not worry, the driveway looks steeper than it is. After two bends you stand directly in front of the striking beautiful wooden house.

Sport, Activities and Attractions

In summer, hiking, sightseeing offered by waterfalls and single-and multi-day canoeing or mountain biking. The hotel's own fishing, mountain bikes, canoes, and a motor boat at your disposal during your stay. Everything is included in the tour price. For horseback riding, whitewater rafting and other below-mentioned activities result in additional costs, these tours can be arranged on site.
Around our house can be reached within an hour's drive about 100 fishing lakes. You can adjust the rainbow trout to 15 pounds to 30 pounds of Arctic charr and kokanee salmon, fresh water to 5 pounds with the fly rod.
Experience on day trips or multi-day trips the Canadian wilderness solitude, crystal clear lakes, hidden coves and wild animals with a little luck at the trough. Tour of six waterfalls, as well as a historical, derelict gold settlement in the beautiful Wells - Gray Provincial - Park.
Or you can be in a seaplane on the shores of the lakes at the front door, pick up a flight over the Cariboo Mountains.
In the winter you have the opportunity to try many activities. Available snowshoes, cross country ski and snowmobile. Even the ice-fishing on the lakes at the front door is usually exciting and successful. Take a walk in the picturesque surroundings and enjoy the fantastic panorama of the property. The winter scenery of Wells Gray Provincial Park, you can marvel at your excursions. It is the ideal location for anyone looking for the peace and quiet and still want to experience actively the Canadian winter.
Our tip: If the fish in the winter resorts are closed, the locals go for ice fishing. You can reach on foot, cross-country skis or by snowmobile to our two major lakes (about 20 km long), the fishing grounds off the front door. After the day's activities is a modern, large sauna.
