Object Description

At Undersåker Holiday Camp we have six 6(+1)-bed cabins for self-catering and a central hall with kitchen and dining/conference room for serving groups of up to 42 people and with a sauna and laundry department.

We offer
• Cabins with 6(+1) beds for self catering.
• Group lodging with up to 42 beds in cabins combined with common kitchen and dining/conference room (self catering) in the central hall.

*) 6 cottages with 36 sqm living space, each one with:
• Living/dining room with kitchen equipment
• Bedroom with 4 (bunk)beds
• Bedroom with 2 (bunk)beds
• The beds are equipped with mattress, quilt, blanket and pillow
• Bathroom with shower
• Entrance hall
• Parking space with electric outlet

• Dining room/assembly hall with piano, TV and fireplace for group of up to 42 persons
• Kitchen for serving the same group

Getting there

From Östersund Euro E14 direction away Trondheim. In a recently closed gas (OK/Q8) to E14 in Undersåker, opposite "Bystugan", please go to Åre about 2 km. As you will find the signpost Undersåker Semesterby and Trostebacken. Follow the signs right up hill about 1.5 km.

Sport, Activities and Attractions

There are notable sights as mountains with cableways, ancient churches, historical monuments, Laplander camp, nature reserves, natural museum etc. Whatever you do you will not want to miss Tännforsen or Ristafallen water falls.
You can experience interesting activities as mountain hiking and riding, mountain cycling, fishing, canoe and kayak tours, shooting the rapids, mountain climbing and cave exploring, hang gliding, summer night golf etc. Summer offers also the possibility of enjoying the mountain’s lovely vegetation while hiking or taking a fishing trip by one of the waterfalls or lakes. You may even want to try mountain orienteering or picking cloudberries.

Åre Mountains are Sweden’s Alps. Those wanting to get the most out of their skiing come here. The mountains challenge the most advanced skier, provide suitable pists for the beginner and virtually limitless choices for those in between. The village is within easy reach of a number of different centres (8-15 km), giving you ready access to a ski run which suits you. In the region there are more than 70 ski-lifts with well prepared ski slopes and beautiful ski runs.

Downhill skiing is naturally the highpoint for many, but there are other equally enjoyable activities available. The surrounding nature offers a variety of experiences like cross country skiing on prepared trails or in the wild, snow mobileing, adventures with dog teams, winter fishing, winter riding and much more.
