Cape Oasis offers you various possibilities to relax and spend some splendid holidays in Cape Town. Whether you are a sportsman, nature lover or just looking for tranquility. The beautiful location will enable you to visit many sights of Cape Town. Cape Oasis has direct access to Rietvlei Nature Reserve and Flamingo Vlei (lake) with its astounding bird habitation and excellent watersport possibilities.

Cape Oasis Guesthouse exists of multiple buildings. Already from far away you will be able to see its landmark, the “windmill house”.
The bungalow on the right side of the windmill encompasses most of the guest rooms. In addition, there are rooms available in the “villa” (the face-brick complex on the picture) and the lodge. All rooms are quiet and have direct access to the garden with its heated swimming pool and jacuzzi (spa). In addition, the lodge and the fully-equipped apartment I offer uninterrupted views on Table Mountain and the nature reserve.
We have especially focused on high-quality matresses, which comply with German standards. Bed-linen and towels are being provided and will be replaced on request.

Standard Double Rooms / Single Rooms:
All rooms have an en-suite bathroom and a safe. Some of them can accomodate up to 4 people.

Lodge:
The Lodge also provides a double bed, a small bathroom with shower and a safe. Sitting on the Veranda, one can enjoy the beautiful views on Table Mountain and the Nature Reserve.

Apartment:
The one-room apartments consist each of a bedroom with double bed, an additional sleeping couch for 2 people as well as a safe.
Apartment I includes a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. Its great views on Table Mountain and the nature reserve will make your stay unforgettable.
Apartment II includes a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. A small patio with its view on the garden invites you to a breakfast outside.

Communal Kitchen and Living Room:
Two spacious, fully equipped kitchens are at service for our guests. Enjoy your meals with great views on Table Mountain and the nature reserve. Our maids ensure the cleanliness of both kitchen.
The communal area offers a pool table, TV, Video and DVD. Come and meet other guests and share you experiences with them.

Cape Oasis is located north of Table Mountain, approx. 20 min drive from the city centre, next to the world famous beaches of Blouberg Strand. Departing from Cape Oasis, one can easily exploit the multiple cultural offers, plunge into Cape Town’s night life or just visit various wine and ostrich farms (approx. 10 min drive).

Getting there

Our Oasis is easy to find. From the airport one needs approx. 30 min at low speed, approx. 20min from the city centre.

Sport, Activities and Attractions

Windsurfing / Kiting:
The area around Cape Oasis with its beautiful beaches Sunset Beach, Table View Beach, Big Bay, Melkbos etc. is famous amongst wind- and kitesurfers. The so called Cape Doctor ensures almost daily windsurf or kiting conditions, either on the lake for a freestyle session (just in front of the door) or for a waveriding day on the sea. Due to the perfect location of Cape Oasis you will never miss the wind. There is nowhere more wind in Table Bay as we enjoy!

Surfing:
Just enjoy a nice surf directly at Table View Beach or Big Bay! (just 5 min car drive)

Sailing:
You will find perfect sailing conditions in the low season on the lake which is directly next to Cape Oasis. 

Wakeboarding / Waterski:
A great alternative are either wakeboarding or waterskiing on the lake.

Diving:
Cape Town offers due to its exposure to the Indian and Atlantic Ocean various diving opportunities. For all thrill seekers, just check out the diving sessions with white sharks in Gansbaai (2h from Cape Town) or go for a whale watching tour to Hermanus. 

Biking/Hiking:
Cape Town is surrounded by mountains of various sizes. Either you want to climb Table Mountain or one of its neighbour mountains or go for a bigger tour to one of the up to 2000m high mountains

Parasailing :
Enjoy a session from Lions Head to Camps Bay!

Horse Riding:
An unforgettable experience: ride along the km-long beaches and enjoy the beautiful sunset! Or ride along Long Beach in Nordhoek behind Table Mountain.

Swimming / Jacuzzi:
Or just wanna go for a swim? You can do so either in our heated swimmingpool (approx. 25 degrees Celsius) or take a relaxing hour in our 35-39 degrees Celsius hot jacuzzi (spa). If there is north-west wind, the water in Table Bay gets up to 18 degrees warm. False Bay (that’s where the pinguins are) has up to 22 degrees to offer.

Golf:
Cape Town is also famous for its multiple and diverse golf courses. To list them all would be impossible, but be assured that every golfer will find “his” course!
