Too cold at home? Or longing for the sun, sea and beach? Then come to Klong Muang beach and stay in our Guesthouse, the Klong-Muang-Inn which is under German management.
Our recently completed Guesthouse lies 5 minutes walk from the very quietly “Klong-Muang-Beach” close by the popular “Andaman-Holiday-Resort”.
We have 10 modern guest rooms very reasonably priced, and all equipped with air-conditioning, hot shower and refrigerator.

Our Restaurant “bei Freddy und Juergen” offers the choice of Thai and European cuisine whitch also included the original German breakfast (various sausages, cheese, eggs, filter-coffee, rye bread, and much more!
For lovers of Thai food, we are pleased to offer our speciality, “stir-fried, hot Mongolian vegetables”, with a choice of meat or seafood. Or try our delicious Thai Curry.
Connoisseurs of the German kitchen are also delighted that we can offer six different varieties of Schnitzel including Cordonbleu, or try our delicius freshly grilled chickens, mmmmm.
In the peak season, from mid-November until mid-April, a buffet is served each evening offering freshly caught fish and seafood. Every Friday we have the Big Barbecue where you can eat as much as you like for Euro 6,-- !! .
Our restaurant / bar offers numerous refreshments. In addition to a large choice of non-alcoholic beverages as well as milk shakes and freshly pressed fruit juices, we also offer a large selection of German wheat-beers, various bottled beers, or try the draft “Carlsberg-beer”.
For lovers of cocktails, there are over 17 exotic cocktails to try, including the famous Mai-Tai served in a pineaple.

The approximately 2,5 km long public Klong Muang beach is ideal for sunbathing, relaxen and swimming, even at high tide.
The wonderfully peaceful Klong Muang lies proximately 16 km from Ao Nang Beach.
It’s the contrast to Ao Nang, which has developed during the past few years into a popular tourist attraction.
Klong Muang is still in the development stages and can be recommended as an “insider tip”.
Every day in the time from 15.00 - 16.00pm a joung elephant comes to the beach outside the Sheraton Hotel. He like to swim with the tourists - also to get a meal.

In our proximity there are several shops  thai-massage, tailor, a motorcycle rental, pharmacy, smaller supermakets, a recently opened Internet Shop, laundry, coiffeur, as well as native restaurants.

Getting there

International airport in Krabi, take a taxi to Klong Muang Beach. Or on request from Krabi airport transfer as well as Phuket.

Sport, Activities and Attractions

Or why not rent a motorcycle and ride approx. 6 km north of “Tap Keack” where with a little luck, you can enjoy the luxury of being completely alone.
For our fishing friends is a catfish farm, approx. 8 km in the direction of Krabi, where you can catch your own catfish for a small fee. Here you can also find a shady spot with a brook and small waterfall.

Approximately 2 km from the Catfish Farm, you will find an elefant camp where it is possible to ride the elefants. Definitely lots of fun for the children!

Or rent a longtail boat and let yourself be seduced by the dream islands of the coasts of Klong Muang. The island of Koh Hong (island-rooms) is an absolute must which can be reached in about half an hour. Here you will find a beautiful lagoon.  Also to be recommended is “Paradise Island” with its wonderful beach. Both islands offer excellent snorkeling conditions.

A little further away, about 1 to 1. 1/2 hours boot trip, is “Poda Island”, “Chicken-Island” and “Phra Nang” as well as “Rai-lay Beach”.
