Object Description

The house is a classic Florida style bungalow. He is originally from the late 50s. He is cared for, was increased on one end and fitted with a small roof terrace.
The room on the second floor is autonomous, has its own entrance, own fridge, own bathroom.
The furniture is an American mainstream, the equipment is the year of construction and the situation accordingly.
The house has no pool, but on an outside shower (the one you do not need, but the other had, if the house is so close to the beach.) TV and the Internet are, of course, as a fully equipped kitchen.

Location and surroundings:

Between Ft. Myers and Tampa, somewhat remote from interstate 75 and the Tamiami Trail is the town of Englewood. Close enough to Venice Beach and Sarasota, to quickly in a major city to be charming. Sufficiently apart, so that only the initiated really get lost here.
This well-situated for commuters living Venice, and spend your holidays inside making the most since the five, 10 or 20 years.
Upstream is a long narrow island: Manasota Key.
In the West: a long sandy beach, very clean and natural.
In the east, the coast is mangrove. Through the mangroves, many (private) boat docks. Populated parts of the Manasota Key are interrupted by several sections that are designated as state parks or nature reserves.
On Manasota Key only two or three hotels, the rest are single-family houses are lifted-up filthy rich and some condo facilities.
We rent to our Mansaota Key Beach Cottage. It is located in a neighborhood of single family homes, west of the main road. If you want to google: 1600 Gulf Boulvd, Englewood, Fl. The beach is 100 steps, without having to cross a road. The beach there is very broad, and mostly empty. He is not private, but there is no parking around the residential area. So, only the bath, which comes with the bike or lives here. The picture above was taken on 11.11.2009, which is not a cloudless day was, but the start of the season!

* You explore your "own" beach and surrounding nature reserves. Do not be alarmed if the bath alongside some great swims. It could be a dolphin or a manatee (Florida manatee). Who are curious and harmless. At Sea World you would pay for swimming with dolphins around 800 dollars (for 4 people). Alligators live in freshwater or brackish water way. You encounter while swimming.
* Continue with the bicycles along the island or the neighboring islands.
* Rent a boat or take the ferry and explore the nearby barrier islands (Little Gasparilla, North Captiva, Sanibel Iceland), or the undeveloped parts of Manasota Key.
* The chic shops of Sarasota, or the cozy little shopping areas of Venice Beach invite you to shop or stroll.
* The cultural activities of Englewood, Venice or Sarasota you can find on the web.
* Tampa, Key Largo, Miami are ideal for day trips
* Key West or Orlando are worth a (possibly extended) weekend.
